California High School Football - Irvine thwarted by Canyon
October 9, 2025: Irvine, CA 92604 Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA), 24-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Canyon improves its record to 6-1 on the season.
The Vaqueros now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Toro for a match on Thursday, October 16. Irvine will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 42-13 league win over Sonora (La Habra, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-5.
