California High School Football - Helix prevails El Capitan
October 9, 2025: Lakeside, CA 92040 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Helix Highlanders football squad scored a good 25-7 triumph over the El Capitan Vaqueros.
The Highlanders (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Eagles go into the battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Granite Hills prevailed over Central (El Centro, CA), 40-22, in a non-league battle.
The Vaqueros now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Augustine for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 18. El Capitan will play a Saints team coming off a 43-0 non-league loss to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Saints record now stands at 4-7.
