In Thursday's league match, the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) volleyball squad tipped the host Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO), by a final score of 2-1.

Next up, the Thunder confront the Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) in a bout, on Tuesday, October 14. Discovery Canyon will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO).
