October 9, 2025: Grand Ledge, MI 48837 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) and the host Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI), witnessed DeWitt's football squad edge Grand Ledge by a tally of 20-14.
The Panthers (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Okemos (Okemos, MI). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Okemos got by Coldwater (Coldwater, MI), 42-20, in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Comets encounter the Catholic Central Shamrocks (Novi, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 16. Grand Ledge will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Shamrocks go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI).
