October 9, 2025: Lillington, NC 27546 The Triton Hawks football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Western Harnett Eagles to 8 in the Hawks league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Union Pines for a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. Triton will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-1.
With the defeat, Western Harnett falls to 1-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC) to face the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, October 16. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 5-2. South Johnston won 50-32 in their recent non-league game against Lee County (Sanford, NC)
