Wisconsin High School Soccer - Gresham Community toppled by Amherst
October 9, 2025: Amherst, WI 54406 Amherst Falcons (Amherst, WI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Gresham Community Wildcats (Gresham, WI), 7-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Amherst moves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Columbus Catholic (Marshfield, WI) to clash with the Dons in a Central Wisconsin 8 test on Monday, October 13. The Dons go into the outing with a record of 16-2. Columbus Catholic won 8-0 in their recent league outing against Bowler/Gresham Community (Bowler, WI)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Newman Catholic Fighting Cardinals (Wausau, WI) in a non-league outing, on Monday, October 13. Gresham Community will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Fighting Cardinals go into the outing with a 4-8 record after their 1-0 league loss to Tri-County (Plainfield, WI).
