October 9, 2025: Huntingtown, MD 20639 Calverton (Huntingtown, MD) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 2-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Calverton advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The host Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to clash with the Crusaders in a Maryland Independent Schools I test on Thursday, October 16. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-0.
The now have a 53-148 record. They play next when they travel to Christian Educational Consortium for a non-league outing on Friday, October 10. Varsity Opponent will play a Cougars squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Valley (Louisville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 7-5.
