With the win, Butte County improves its record to 20-2 on the season. The Pirates host Salmon (Salmon, ID) to encounter the Savages in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 14. The Savages enter the contest with a record of 4-15. Salmon lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Ririe (Ririe, ID)
Next, the Miners meet the Leadore Mustangs (Leadore, ID) in a 1A Rocky Mountain battle, on Saturday, October 11. Mackay will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 15-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over North Gem (Bancroft, ID).
