The Marquez Gladiators topped the host Elizabeth Bulldogs volleyball team by a margin of 3-1 in Thursday's league outing.

The Gladiators now possess a 9-17 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Balboa College Prep for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. Marquez will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Magnolia Science Academy Reseda (Reseda, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Elizabeth drops to 5-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Wolves in a Southern outing on Monday, October 13.
