South Carolina High School Volleyball - South Aiken tips Gray Collegiate Academy

In Thursday's league challenge, the host South Aiken Thoroughbreds volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles.

The Thoroughbreds (20-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Mustangs come into the AAAA Region 4 challenge with a 6-14 record. In their last challenge, Midland Valley was nudged by Aiken (Aiken, SC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the War Eagles meet the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Gray Collegiate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 17-4 season record. The Fighting Green Hornets come into the challenge with a 15-14 record after their 3-0 league win over Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC).
