In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host St. Thomas More Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Kadoka Kougars.

The Cavaliers (23-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Hill City (Hill City, SD). The Rangers enter the A Region 8 challenge with a 17-11 record. In their last challenge, Hill City beat Mahpiya Luta (Pine Ridge, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
