October 9, 2025: Mankato, MN 56001 The Mankato East Cougars volleyball squad scored 3 points and limited the visiting New Ulm Eagles to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now possess a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Worthington for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 14. Mankato East will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 9-15.
With the loss, New Ulm drops to 6-13 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 8-7. Hutchinson won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Central (Norwood-Young America, MN)
