In Thursday's league challenge, the host North Allegheny Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the North Hills Indians.

The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 9-8 record. In their last challenge, Gilmour Academy beat St. Joseph Academy (Cleveland, OH), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians face the Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 1 test, on Tuesday, October 14. North Hills will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Rams go into the test with a 8-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH).
