California High School Volleyball - St. Ignatius College Preparatory over Valley Christian

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) and the visiting Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), observed St. Ignatius College Preparatory's volleyball team top Valley Christian by a count of 3-1.

The Wildcats (17-6) will now prepare for their battle against Presentation (San Jose, CA). The Panthers go into the West Catholic battle with a 6-18 record. In their last battle, Presentation dropped by Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Warriors meet the Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 11. Valley Christian will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Dons enter the contest with a 16-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA).
