October 1, 2021: Huxley, IA 50124 Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA), 34-13 in a league test.
With the triumph, Nevada improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Cubs host Algona (Algona, IA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A District 2 test on Friday, October 8. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-1. Algona won 27-13 in their recent league test against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA)
With the loss, Ballard drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bombers host North Polk (Alleman, IA) to battle the Comets in a 3A District 2 test on Friday, October 8. The Comets come into the test with a record of 2-4. North Polk lost 52-31 in their recent league test against Humboldt (Humboldt, IA)
