With the triumph, Ishpeming improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hematites host West Iron County (Iron River, MI) to confront the Wykons in a Western Peninsula - Iron test on Friday, October 8. The Wykons come into the test with a record of 0-5. West Iron County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Houghton (Houghton, MI)
With the loss, Gwinn drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Modeltowners travel to Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI) to confront the Broncos in a Western Peninsula - Iron test on Friday, October 8. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 4-2. Bark River-Harris won 36-16 in their recent league test against Manistique (Manistique, MI)
