The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Lake County Falcons (Tiptonville, TN) and the host West Carroll War Eagles (Atwood, TN), observed Lake County's football squad edge West Carroll by a count of 26-20.

The Falcons now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Haywood for a non-league contest on Thursday, October 7. Lake County will encounter a Tomcats squad coming off a 56-18 league win over Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN). The Tomcats record now stands at 6-0.

Coming up next, the War Eagles encounter the Greenfield Yellowjackets (Greenfield, TN) in a 1A Region 7 contest, on Friday, October 15. West Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
