In Friday's league match, the host Central Davidson Spartans football squad scored a good 46-34 victory over the Ledford Panthers.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) in a 3A West Conference 47 match, on Friday, October 8.
