Colorado High School Softball - Pomona holds off Dakota Ridge
October 1, 2021: Arvada, CO 80005 The crowd at Friday's league match between the Pomona Panthers (Arvada, CO) and the visiting Dakota Ridge Eagles (Littleton, CO), saw Pomona's softball squad nip Dakota Ridge by a count of 9-7.
The Panthers now sport a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakewood for a 5A Jeffco match on Monday, October 4. Pomona will face a Tigers squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to Arvada West (Arvada, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 13-7.
With the loss, Dakota Ridge falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Eagles host Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO) to face the Mustangs in a 5A Jeffco match on Monday, October 4. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 9-9. Ralston Valley won 5-3 in their recent league match against Chatfield (Littleton, CO)
