October 1, 2022: Lakewood, CA 90713 Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA), 1-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Defenders battle the Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 1. Valley Christian will attempt to better on its 19-4 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 13-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Alhambra (Alhambra, CA).
With the loss, Mayfair drops to 0-4 on the campaign.
