With the victory, Albuquerque Academy moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Chargers host Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Vikings in a 4A District 6 bout on Thursday, October 6. The Vikings enter the bout with a record of 5-6.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers confront the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a 4A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, October 4. Los Alamos will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Pintos enter the bout with a 5-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
