Wisconsin High School Soccer - Pius XI Catholic nudges Elkhorn
October 1, 2022: Milwaukee, WI 53213 Pius XI Catholic Popes (Milwaukee, WI) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Elkhorn Elks (Elkhorn, WI), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Popes confront the West Allis Central Bulldogs (West Allis, WI) in a Woodland challenge, on Monday, October 3. Pius XI Catholic will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pewaukee (Pewaukee, WI).
The Elks now have a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterford for a Southern Lakes challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Elkhorn will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Union Grove (Union Grove, WI). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-11.
