October 1, 2022: Point Pleasant, WV 25550 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) and the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), saw Greenbrier East's soccer squad knock off Point Pleasant by a margin of 4-2.
The Spartans now sport a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Charleston Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. Greenbrier East will meet a Irish squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Irish record now stands at 15-0.
