Ohio High School Soccer - Urbana nudges Northeastern
October 1, 2022: Springfield, OH 45502 Urbana Hillclimbers (Urbana, OH) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Northeastern Jets (Springfield, OH), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hillclimbers confront the Kenton Ridge Cougars (Springfield, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Mad River challenge, on Monday, October 3. Urbana will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Graham Local (St. Paris, OH).
The Jets now possess a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Fairlawn for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Northeastern will confront a Jets team coming off a 0-0 non-league Miami Valley (Dayton, OH). The Jets record now stands at 1-9.
