October 1, 2022: Newark, NJ 07102 St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Gray Bees confront the Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 8. St. Benedict's Prep will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
The Wildcats now possess a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaminade for a non-league challenge on Sunday, October 2. St. Ignatius will confront a Flyers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY). The Flyers record now stands at 4-1.
