In Saturday's non-league contest, the Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN) volleyball squad edged the host South Bend Clay Colonials (South Bend, IN), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Wolves battle the Portage Indians (Portage, IN) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 5. Boone Grove will attempt to better on its 15-8 season record.

With the loss, South Bend Clay drops to 10-19 on the campaign. The Colonials travel to South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN) to battle the Wildcats in a Northern Indiana contest on Tuesday, October 4.
