October 1, 2022: Alameda, CA 94501 The Encinal Jets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Head-Royce Jayhawks to 1 in the Jets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Jets now have a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Leandro for a West Alameda County - Foothill game on Monday, October 3. Encinal will confront a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Head-Royce (Oakland, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-11.
The Jayhawks (22-6) will now prepare for their game against Albany (Albany, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 11-15 record. In their last game, Albany held off El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
