The Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans held off the visiting Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Titans now have a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton for a non-league test on Saturday, October 1.
The Knights (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity (Lester Prairie, MN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity was nudged by Central (Norwood-Young America, MN), 3-0, in a league test.
