Illinois High School Flag Football - Rosary sneaks past Carmel
October 1, 2024: Aurora, IL 60506 The Rosary Royals flag football squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting Carmel Corsairs to 7 in the Royals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Royals now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bremen for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. Rosary will meet a Braves squad coming off a 48-0 non-league loss to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Braves record now stands at 0-7.
With the defeat, Carmel drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Corsairs host Marist (Chicago, IL) to meet the RedHawks in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The RedHawks come into the test with a record of 4-3. Marist lost 26-12 in their recent non-league test against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)
