Washington High School Soccer - Sumner nudges South Kitsap
October 1, 2024: Port Orchard, WA 98366 The Sumner Spartans soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host South Kitsap Wolves to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Puyallup for a non-league bout on Friday, October 4. Sumner will play a Vikings squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, South Kitsap moves to 5-1 on the year. The Wolves travel to Bethel (Spanaway, WA) to play the Bison in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 3. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Bethel 2-2 in their recent non-league bout against Spanaway Lake (Spanaway, WA)
