Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Abington Heights nudges Scranton Prep
October 1, 2024: Scranton, PA 18509 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) and the host Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA), saw Abington Heights's soccer squad hold off Scranton Prep by a count of 1-0.
The Comets (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hill School (Pottstown, PA). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Hill School was edged by Pennington (Pennington, NJ), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Cavaliers battle the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 battle, on Thursday, October 3. Scranton Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.
