The Matadors now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to La Cueva for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 8. Sandia will clash with a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Valley drops to 6-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Taos (Taos, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 3. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Taos lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Capital (Santa Fe, NM)
