October 1, 2024: New Bedford, MA 02740 New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Bishop Stang Spartans (North Dartmouth, MA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, New Bedford advances its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Whalers travel to Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Indians come into the test with a record of 6-1. Dartmouth won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Greater New Bedford RVT (New Bedford, MA)
The Spartans now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Williams for a Catholic Central - Large test on Friday, October 4. Bishop Stang will clash with a Bishops team coming off a 6-1 league win over Cardinal Spellman (Brockton, MA). The Bishops record now stands at 5-2.
