Wisconsin High School Soccer - Columbus toppled by Lakeside Lutheran
October 1, 2024: Columbus, WI 53925 Lakeside Lutheran Warriors (Lake Mills, WI) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, WI), 6-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Lakeside Lutheran advances its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to McFarland (McFarland, WI) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 8-1. McFarland won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI)
The Cardinals now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mayville for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Columbus will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Omro (Omro, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-7.
