Ohio High School Soccer - Fairlawn toppled by Northeastern
October 1, 2024: Springfield, OH 45502 Northeastern Jets (Springfield, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Fairlawn Jets (Sidney, OH), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Northeastern moves its record to 2-11 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Catholic Central (Springfield, OH) to meet the Irish in a Ohio Heritage South test on Thursday, October 3. The Irish come into the test with a record of 2-6. Catholic Central won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Stivers School for the Arts (Dayton, OH)
The Jets now sport a 0-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin Monroe for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Fairlawn will meet a Jets team coming off a 9-4 league loss to Newton Local (Pleasant Hill, OH). The Jets record now stands at 2-12.
