Ohio High School Soccer - Franklin Heights toppled by Westland
October 1, 2024: Columbus, OH 43204 Westland Cougars (Galloway, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Franklin Heights Falcons (Columbus, OH), 10-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Westland advances its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Hayes (Delaware, OH) to clash with the Pacers in a Ohio Capital - Capital test on Thursday, October 3. The Pacers come into the test with a record of 9-2. Hayes won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Bexley (Columbus, OH)
The Falcons now have a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they host Buckeye Valley for a Central Buckeye match on Thursday, October 3. Franklin Heights will meet a Barons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hayes (Delaware, OH). The Barons record now stands at 5-8.
