Delaware High School Soccer - Mount Pleasant toppled by William Penn
October 1, 2024: New Castle, DE 19720 William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE), 6-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, William Penn advances its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Colonials travel to Newark Charter School (Newark, DE) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 4-2. Newark Charter School lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Caravel (Bear, DE)
The Green Knights now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Concord for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. Mount Pleasant will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 9-0 league win over DuPont (Wilmington, DE). The Raiders record now stands at 4-3.
