Missouri High School Softball - Jefferson City bounces Battle
October 1, 2024: Jefferson City, MO 65101 The Jefferson City Jays softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Battle Spartans to 1 in the Jays non-league win on Tuesday.
The Jays now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. Jefferson City will confront a Panthers team coming off a 13-0 league win over Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 17-5.
With the loss, Battle moves to 9-16 on the season. The Spartans host Sherwood (Creighton, MO) to confront the Marksmen in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Marksmen come into the battle with a record of 5-12. Sherwood lost 11-10 in their recent non-league battle against Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO)
