Missouri High School Softball - Fair Play bounces Climax Springs
October 1, 2024: Fair Play, MO 65649 The Fair Play Hornets softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Climax Springs Cougars to 9 in the Hornets non-league win on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Humansville for a Class 1 District 2 battle on Tuesday, October 8.
With the loss, Climax Springs moves to 2-14 on the season. The Cougars host Montrose (Montrose, MO) to confront the Blue Jays in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Blue Jays come into the battle with a record of 8-7. Montrose lost 8-7 in their recent league battle against Wheatland (Wheatland, MO)
