Missouri High School Softball - Perryville topped by Saxony Lutheran
October 1, 2024: Jackson, MO 63755 Saxony Lutheran Crusaders (Jackson, MO) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Perryville Pirates (Perryville, MO), 12-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Saxony Lutheran upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Crusaders host Jefferson (Festus, MO) to play the Blue Jays in a Class 2 District 3 game on Wednesday, October 2. The Blue Jays enter the game with a record of 9-12. Jefferson lost 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, MO)
The Pirates now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to DeSoto for a non-league game on Thursday, October 3. Perryville will play a Dragons squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over St. Clair (St. Clair, MO). The Dragons record now stands at 6-11.
