October 1, 2024: Aquilla, TX 76622 Avalon Eagles (Avalon, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Aquilla Cougars (Aquilla, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Avalon improves its record to 17-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Abbott (Abbott, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 7-6. Abbott won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Oglesby (Oglesby, TX)
The Cougars now own a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coolidge for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Aquilla will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-11.
