October 1, 2024: DeQuincy, LA 70633 Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host DeQuincy Tigers (DeQuincy, LA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Notre Dame advances its record to 9-7 on the season. The Pioneers host Welsh (Welsh, LA) to face the Greyhounds in a Division IV District 3 test on Thursday, October 3. The Greyhounds go into the test with a record of 9-2. Welsh won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Opelousas (Opelousas, LA)
The Tigers now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington-Marion for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. DeQuincy will face a Charging Indians squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Elton (Elton, LA). The Charging Indians record now stands at 4-5.
