October 1, 2024: Rugby, ND 58368 The Rugby Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Drake/Anamoose Raiders to 0 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 3. Rugby will play a Mavericks team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] (Berthold, ND). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Drake/Anamoose drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host Velva (Velva, ND) to play the Aggies in a B - Region 6 District 11 outing on Thursday, October 3. The Aggies come into the outing with a record of 5-10. Velva lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Nedrose (Minot, ND)
