Delaware High School Volleyball - Sussex Academy overwhelmed by Indian River
October 1, 2024: Georgetown, DE 19947 Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Indian River improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Dover (Dover, DE) to face the Senators in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. The Senators go into the test with a record of 6-3.
The Seahawks now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Odessa for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Sussex Academy will face a Ducks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE). The Ducks record now stands at 5-4.
