October 1, 2025: Milan, IN 47031 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Milan Indians (Milan, IN) and the visiting Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), saw Milan's soccer squad knock off Union County by a score of 3-1.
The Indians (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN). The Shiners enter the Ohio River Valley battle with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Rising Sun South Ripley (Versailles, IN), 1-1, in a league test.
The Patriots now sport a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Muncie Burris for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Union County will meet a Owls team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Wapahani (Selma, IN). The Owls record now stands at 8-5.
