North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Duplin can't hold off North Lenoir
October 1, 2025: Calypso, NC 28365 In Wednesday's non-league bout, the North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) volleyball team held off the host North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC), by a margin of 2-1.
The Hawks now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to North Pitt for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2. North Lenoir will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-17.
With the loss, North Duplin falls to 8-8 on the year. The Rebels host West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 7. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 4-7. West Columbus won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC)
