West Virginia High School Soccer - Lincoln toppled by Trinity Christian
October 1, 2025: Morgantown, WV 26505 Trinity Christian Warriors (Morgantown, WV) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), 7-0 in a league outing.
The Warriors (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV). The Irish go into the Freelance outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Charleston Catholic got by Herbert Hoover (Elkview, WV), 5-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten test, on Thursday, October 2. Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Polar Bears come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 1-0 league win over Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV).
