The Piasa Birds now hold a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Vandalia for a South Central challenge on Thursday, October 2. Southwestern will encounter a Vandals squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Carlyle (Carlyle, IL). The Vandals record now stands at 2-11.
