Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the ALA - Anthem South Titans (Florence, AZ) and the visiting Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils (Eloy, AZ), observed ALA - Anthem South's volleyball team hold off Santa Cruz Valley by a count of 3-2.

The Titans (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes go into the non-league battle with a 6-16 record. In their last battle, Combs was edged by Mesa (Mesa, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Dust Devils now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Horizon Honors for a 2A - Valley challenge on Tuesday, October 7. Santa Cruz Valley will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Rancho Solano Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 6-19.
