Minnesota High School Volleyball - Anoka tips Minneapolis Southwest

October 1, 2025: Anoka, MN 55303

The Anoka Tornadoes volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Minneapolis Southwest Lakers to 2 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tornadoes now sport a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Blaine for a Northwest Suburban game on Tuesday, October 7. Anoka will confront a Bengals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Francis (St. Francis, MN). The Bengals record now stands at 11-10.

With the loss, Minneapolis Southwest drops to 4-11 on the campaign. The Lakers host Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN) to clash with the Stars in a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. The Stars come into the outing with a record of 18-3. Academy of Holy Angels won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Richfield (Richfield, MN)
